Launch of 1st Lifton Squirrel Scouts

1st Lifton Scout Group is pleased to be able to launch the first Squirrel Drey in West Devon on 7th November, thanks to two keen Squirrel Scout leaders. Natasha and Caroline will be co-ordinating the launch of this newest addition to our group. Squirrel Scouts is open to children aged 4 to 6 years old, it will offer a wide range of age appropriate games and activities. Squirrels wear a bright red uniform sweatshirt and they have special badges to achieve during their time as Squirrels. Our leaders have decided to start with a small Drey of about ten Squirrels, with the hope that they can accommodate more Squirrels next term. We anticipate that we will be over-subscribed as there are very few Squirrel Dreys in our area, we are aware of Squirrel Dreys in Callington, Plymouth and Exeter.
