Family Treasure Hunt

Date: 9th Apr 2022 Author: Robert Weston

Our 50th Anniversary Activities continue at pace! In March all of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had the opportunity to have a go at climbing at The Barn Climbing Centre in Milton Abbott. A great time was had by all, as they took on this latest challenge with courage and perseverance. For April, we have a fun activity for all the family… a treasure hunt with clues prepared by our Cub Scout Leader, Mark. The treasure hunt will begin at the car park in Lifton Community Centre, where you will be given the list of clues. The final destination point will be Roadford Lake (Watersports Centre car park, not the cafe car park) where we will have a BBQ together.

To enter all you need is a suitable vehicle with driver and your team – you can be in a team of 2 or more (depending on the size of your vehicle). You will also need a phone with a camera, so you can take pictures of the places on your treasure hunt.

Start time is 1pm at Lifton, hopefully you will be at Roadford Lake around 3pm.   Revised date is Saturday 30th April.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
